CE marking was created in 1993 with the 93/68/CEE Directive. When a manufacturer introduces its products a CE mark is ensuring, under its own responsibility, that its products are produced according to the European legal, safety and environmental standards. It is a very prestigious symbol in most parts of the world for industrial equipment.
