NTPs are COPs (code of practice). Their indications are not mandatory unless they are included in a provision regulations in force. In order to assess the relevance of the recommendations contained in a specific NTP, it is convenient take into account its edition date.
In Spain TEC Container led a group for the development of the NTP 1083, the document was published by the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work, and the following terminals, companies and institutions participated in this work group: APMT Algeciras, MSC , Noatum, APMT, Berge, stevedore Associations, Puertos del Estado, Paceco, and the Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work.
