Safety factor or Design Factor, determines the ratio between the working load limit (WLL) and minimum breaking load (MBL). The working load limit’s rating should never be exceed. This safety factor provides an allowance for unforeseen factors.
E.g. All our cages have a Safety Factor of 10. This means if our BA-185L has a WLL: 6 t and safety factor of 10 then the Minimum Breaking Load of the lashingcage is 60 t (WLL X 10=MBL)
